JAFRA Cosmetics International introduces its newest fragrance, Paris et Moi Perfumer’s Edition No.1 by P. Courtiere, the first in a series of exclusive fine fragrances created by hand-selected perfumers from around the world. Brought to you in collaboration with elite perfumer Philippine Courtiere who hails from the renowned Firmenich Fragrance House, is Paris et Moi, a sophisticated, romantically-blended fragrance that captures her great love of fragrance and Paris in a bottle. Paris et Moi “combines the glamour, the elegance, and the youthful energy of trendy Parisian girls,” says Courtiere.
Courtiere wants “women [to] feel irresistible and capable of anything when wearing this perfume.” Courtiere’s continuing drive for excellence within the prestigious world of perfumery is paralleled by JAFRA’s message of empowering women, propelling each one to great personal and professional success.

The Fragrance
Top notes of mara strawberries, which remind P. Courtiere of the French fraise de bois tartlet – a flaky tart filled with strawberries she ate as a young girl at her grandmother’s house, open this deliciously succulent scent. It then eases into elegant middle notes of rose petal macaron, another French delicacy, illustrating the elegance and originality of the overall scent. Finally, creamy silky woods brings this fragrance to a soft close with a nod to the famous Boulogne wood, a beautiful park in West Paris.
The Bottle
The simple, clean lines of the Paris et Moi bottle serves as the ideal backdrop for showcasing Paris’s iconic symbol and a favorite of Courtiere’s – the Eiffel Tower, which pays homage to the master lattice work exhibited throughout this architectural wonder. Also elegantly depicted outside the back wall of the bottle is a lightly-penned illustration of the streets of Paris with a prominently placed circular Perfumer’s Edition No. 1 logo on the cap.
About Philippine Courtiere
Known as the olfactory artist behind JAFRA’s sensual new fragrance, Paris et Moi by P. Courtiere, Philippine Courtiere was born in the City of Lights where she first set out to become a legal analyst, but quickly changed course after accepting an internship in perfumery – a career she never intended to pursue, but a decision she never regretted making. It was through this chance internship that Philippine’s passion for perfumery was solidified. From Philippine’s many epicurean activities such as horse riding, art collecting and her early days as a former ballet dancer, stemmed a taste for only the best, and a curiosity about the world, which feeds her creativity – all attributes that have helped to propel her to rising star status within the renowned Firmenich Fragrance House.
